del sol weight
first of all im sorry if this is a frequently *sp* asked question, but why does a del sol si weight 2300+lbs and a cx hb civic weight 2094lbs , what makes this sol so heavy , this question is always on my mind ?

Well that and you're really comparing completely different trim levels. Compare a Civic Si hatch and a del Sol Si and you'll find they're a lot closer in weight.
All the little crap like power mirrors, windows, cruise control, etc adds up.
You CAN go nuts in a del Sol with weight savings.....how's 1700 lbs "street weight" sound?
