just sent $2000 to passwordjdm.com (%50% of itr motor)
Finally 3 months after i sold my black 95 gsr .. i got my basic stock 94 civic hatch cx (vision corners,h&r springs , skunk 2 exaust, thats it)and have been working two jobs so i can buy my itr motor.so i called passwordjdm and talked to steve and sent him %50 percent of a 97 jdm itr complete swap.when the motor gets to his shop(estimated 3-4 weeks) he will call me and i will sent the other$2200.im so excited i cant stop think bout it,its driving me crazy.anyways i was wondering how you guys pay for your motors.. i just got a cashiers check and sent it off for the first $2000ii got the receipt also.. is that how you guys wouldve paid , couldnt he just take my money and rip me off(which i HIGHLY DOUBT he would, steve seems like a hella cool guy)i was just wondering how you guys paid for your motors.thanks,Randy

i hate credit cards...my way of looking at things is like this...if i cant buy it cash then i cant afford it.(except a house or something that expesive)
oh yeah and have fun with your motor when you get it

I havent bought a motor just yet but here are the options I prefer..
If its online, and the company isnt well known.. I would pay with a credit card, that way I can dispute charges if it comes down to it. BUT I would make sure I already have the money saved up, so the bill can be payed right away.
If the shop is well known and trusted, I would just do a wire transfer.
