okay, a few things first. there is a tiny hose connected near the top of the throttle body and it isn't connected to anything else. I think its the one that connects to the purge or evap solenoid, which I don't have on a B18C right? do I need to plug that hose up? Secondly, I can't figure out where the heater hose, the passenger side hose that cmes out from the firewall goes. I couldnt imagine either of theses two things would cause it to die right after start up? however, the car does stay on if I keep the throttle body up open ( throttle cable isn't hooked up) but as soon as I let go it dies...

I cant remember for sure but it either goes to the purge solenoid or the evap canister. I also have a b18c(JDM) and i do have a purge solenoid. With that line not being hooked to anything it is probably dieing due to vaccum leak. Try plugging the hose and see if it stays running. Also check for other vaccum leaks. Ill take a look at my motor in a couple hours and let you know where my line runs.

I crimped the lone and its still dieing on me and I only have two lines that connect to my cannister and they are both hooked up.
I'm going to go up a throttle cable and beer
be back in a bit to try out more suggestions.
