Default just got my new car

so today i picked up my new car, a 1994 civic cx hatch. its a cx, so its obviously slow as *****. so im driving to all my friends houses to check it out and just crusing, and i notice my temp needle soar, then max. so i pull over and pop the radiator cap and let all the steam out, and it cools down fast, but i just didnt get to it in time, my head gaskets gone the same day i get my car. due to a bad thermostat, its sitting there max temp, at idle, and the fans not budging

so now, i think when i go to replace the head gasket ill do a head swap since i dont have the money for an engine swap. question being which heads will bolt onto the cx block, i think its a D16?. i have around $1000, but i need other things so i dont want to spend it all on a head. i think i should get the head and intake mani, fuel rail, injectors, and throttle body since my stock one is like a .5mm so again, what head should i look for?

oh and i went to install my alpine cda-9815 head unit and i notice theres no friggen harness on the stock wires, its just a bunch of wires. theres a red with a green stripe, a red with a silver, and a red with a different stripe. i have no idea what to do there.

i might want to boost it in the future but im not sure this POS block can handle more than like 5psi, i mean come on, its 70hp stock i cant believe this.

any and all help is appreciated.

Z6s' have 125 hp and 105 tq (i think). shop around on partstrader.com or your local junk yard. i particulary like the Z6. i think it can produce some good power. and the whole swap should be less than 1000 bux. good luck
