Just curious about some experience w/ B18c1 w/ ITR Tranny
Like the topic says I just wanna hear some ppl's experience with this setup. How u like it, a big diff between the GSR tranny? Just was searching and couldn't find any articles I didn't search too hard though. it's late.

depends on what year ITR TRANNY...if it's a 98 with the 4.785 then it will be GREAT....but with jsut an itr 4.4 then it will be fun....

I'm using a 99Si tranny, which was an improvement over my GSR tranny. I later added a 4.785 final drive, and I love it, accelleration has improved dramatically.

ITR or B16 trannies would make good mates with the relatively torquey powerband of b18c1s.

Depanding on what wheel and tire combo you are using. Alot of hardcore guys local tend to go with a OEM US ITR tranny with 13's VX wheels, using 185/60-13 Advans, whereas a few guys with used a JDM final drive running with 15"-16" wheels.
I personally stick with the US ITR tranny with 15" since I had shitty luck with a JDM ITR tranny. Felt like turbo civic.....you know, can't hook up till top of 3rd gear at the streets.

I have been running the ITR tranny on every b-series setup. and its been great. I seen no downsides to this. always past the vtec point even when shifting lower then stock rev limit, which is great for auto-x.
only time I would opt out for LSD GSR tranny is for the B20b/z which need slightly longer gearing, from my expirence.
