Just bought a Del sol...weird issue, would appreciate help
Okay so I just bought a 95 del sol with a d15b7 motor. Everything in the car is stock, EVERYTHING. Car was owned for 14 years by the same person. Handed me records of the car including original bill of sale etc about 4 inches thick. Oil changes and other misc work like muffler etc, NOTHING SERIOUS. I think like an axel/muffler was some of the most expensive things they repaired on the car.
Now onto the car. I own 3 of these cars, (2) 92 civics, and (1) Del sol. They all have the same engine, therefore I think they all have the same transmission, The sol might have a slightly different one I dunno. I can tell the difference in the way they all drive based on their mileage, and the way they shift based on their mileage etc.
This is my issue. With the new del sol I just acquired for whatever reason in 2nd-3rd gear(this is an automatic car) around like 30-40mph the steering wheel shakes and the my foot on the gas accelerating SLOWLY it feels like the car is shaking, but as SOON as the car shifts, it immediately goes away. and I only get this issue around 30-40mph or so. If I give the gas enough power to downshift and accelerate I dont feel a damn thing. The car does idle low sometimes, looks to idle around 200-400 at the worst. I just replaced the spark plugs and wires with NGK's and the car has no issue starting whatsoever. When I did a compression test on the car it came up mid 170's to low 180's accross. Something like 175, 181, 179, 180 or something like that. and I did each cylinder 3 times WOT, while the engine was hot.
Im about to change the fuel filter just for the hell of it, but I dont know what is causing the car to rumble around 20-30mph. it kind of feels like it bogs during that time, but then goes away. The only thing that was a bit off when checking out the car before I bought it was it was a little low on oil, but I saw no signs of burning oil at the time, no blue smoke, no rumbling, no black **** by the rear bumper, no leaks etc and the compression came back good.

I went to change the fuel filter today and I couldnt get the fuel line bolt loose, was way too effing tight. I will try and get it done tomorrow morning and then on a full tank of gas throw in a can of bg 44k and see what happens.
