I also have a d16z6 but obd1 is not the way i want to go. i could go d16y8 and go vtec and obd2 but i just want to know can i go the first two ways save money and go big next yr. just trying to figger out the basics first Thanks guys.

you can do either one. you could also bypass the CKF sensor as well if you didn't want to swap crank sensors.

The prob i have here is mass laws Inspection its messed up if its obd2 it has to stay that way in less its 25 yrs old. So i can direct fit the distributor from the d16y7 to the p2a head. or would i be better of just doing a head swap. Putting the d16y7 head on the d15b block.

also what kind of gain would it be to swap out the intake from d16y7 to a d16z6 intake. just wondering.
