Default Jumping idle while stopped.

I THINK this only happens when I'm stopped and its hot (like today) and the fan is kicked on. The cars idle jumps to about 1500 then back to 1000 repeatedly. Any ideas? (JDM d15b)

Thanks

i dont think number 9/11 is the idle air control valve buddy.

IACV:

take it out, i think its 2 10mm bolts, and two hoses clamped on the bottom

Then when its out, just spray it with carb cleaner and clean it. its recommended that you change the gasket too.

i had the same exact problem as you did...and the problem was...that your throttle cable was too tight. (seriously) loosen it up and it'll idle back to 800 rpm
