Default JRSC Mini-Me or JRSC D-series

I'm looking into slapping on a JRSC on my mini-me, I was wondering if there was any sites out there other than this one to check out and get more info on doing so.

It shouldn't be any different than putting one on a SOHC vtec. The compression isn't too high, maybe some ARP headstuds wouldn't be a bad idea either

you would be more happy in the long run with a turbo.

you can supercharger a stock ITR motor and thats almost 11:1
thats why I said with some headstuds you should be ok...

and with some good tuning and not running max psi of course

Yeah, get some new head studs. And you WILL be happier with a blower. Theres no lag, and theres more power across more of the powerband more of the time. For low boost, even high boost, blowers are better. Everyone on here must have a turbo cause there cheaper, and dont ever let them tell you turbos make more boost. Blowers can do 20psi of boost. Whereas a blower may not do 30lbs and a turbo could, who the expletive runs 30psi of boost on a street honda? most dont. Get the blower, expletive the turbo hiss, and be happy. I got a D16Y7 and I'm gonna supercharge it eventually. I'd try to drop the compression a little, but at like 7psi, with head studs you should be alright.

thanks, i thought about turboing, but i got a reaaaallly good deal on a JRSC. and i'd agree with redline about the powerband being better. I'm getting into auto-Xing and i know that instant torque would be great comming out of the turns rather than having that turbo lag. which is why i decided to go JRSC. 140-150ish wheel isnt soo bad, considering thats a tad bit than what a swapped hatch puts out

150 to the wheel? Aw come on you can do better than that. Hell, I've seen turbo D series with 9psi turbos doin 200 to the ground. when building a D-series, you want the Z6 head, the y8 IM, and a 2.5" free flowing exhaust for your blower as well as a large intake system so the blower can do its job.

Haha...people with superchargers are so bitter. Boost pressure doesn't mean HP or something. 7psi on a t3 is way different then 7 psi on a t25 and by no means do they put out the same HP increases. For the original poster, post this in the FI section and people with real hand's on experience can point you in the right direction .
