Re: JERKING??? (ph0shizzle)
Change your spark plugs, distributor cap, and spark plug wires. Theres nothing wrong with the speedometer, it's the car thats doing it.

If there wasn't fuel in the car, how would he know it was jerking? haha j/k... yes, changing the things i said might solve the problem. So let me guess, when you turn on the car, it feels fine. But once you start going and once it reaches 2000rpm to 2500rpm, it starts spudering right? like eeehhhhhhh pa pa pa pa eehh pa pa pa? If i guess right, theres is nothing wrong with your fuel pump. If your fuel pump was bad, your car won't be able to start from time to time.

Re: JERKING??? (slodel)
uh yea, when i turn on the car it feels fine, then around 2k-2.5k it sometimes jerks a little but then it goes away. when it jerks it doesnt make any noises, you could just feel a lil jerk soemtimes and the speedometer jumps around sometimes. so.. is it the sparkplugs?dizzy?or?

Re: JERKING??? (ph0shizzle)
you sure its not a misfire? hmm but misfire would throw a CEL...so... do what everyone says. change or swap plugs n wires to see if theres a difference. also could be a injectors. or a very lose dizzy. i know that in my car around 2k+ i get more vibrations. its like that in most honda's. thats why alot of people complain about hondas and move over toyota where the engine is quiter since its DOHC. but now that honda has changed directions (the motor actually rotates the other way now!) the new ones come with superior ride quality and sound!

The speedometer could be jumping due to a bad alternator. If a ground wire has been ripped off, replace it with a new ground wire.
