JDM SiR cluster install please help!
ok so i installed my JDM cluster last night and i didn't use a yellow plug or a green plug from my usdm one..? i believe one is for SRS and the other is for cruise control.. I HAVE SEARCHED and i've come up with nothing..there was a DIY on this but the guy who did it edited his thread cuz his cluster got stolen..anyhow i wanted to know if my airbags are now not going to blow due to me not having my SRS light plugged in..also if anyone maybe has that DIY saved somewhere and can send it to me about wiring the usdm srs to the jdm cluster that would be great..
lastly i feel as if my cluster should light up brighter? and the 100KPH - 120KPH is alil dimmer then the rest..is this normal?

As far as the dimmed area....you probably have a bulb burnt. Pull out the holder in the back that lights up that area and check it out.
For the plugs I'm not sure. I do know that the yellow plug is for the SRS system.

A few people told me the airbags wouldnt work so here is what i did on my jdm cluster about a week ago. Take the US cluster and remove the clear plastic cover and then unscrew the speedometer from the back via three small screws. the gauge will come right out so set it aside and then remove the temp gauge/tach (depending on model) which is to the left of the speedo, it has the same type of screws in the back. Now that the gauges are out of the way the SRS connector is held in with a little clip in the back so pop it out. You can then put the SRS connector into the jdm cluster by using the same method. I disconnected the battery to be safe then removed the jdm cluster. Remove the gauges and the srs will clip right into the jdm cluster. Then after u put the gauges back in u can either use the clear plastic off of the usdm clsuter so that the light will shine through or u can cut the hole in the jdm bezel and swap over the SRS light cover. Personally i just cut a hole where the light is so that i can still see it come on and off when i turn the car on even though it doesnt say SRS, i still know what the light is for. Now u can plug in the yellow plug and have your airbags working again. The same thing can be done for the cruise control but i dont have CC so i didnt worry about it. sorry i didnt take any pics but i hope this helps
