yes im pretty sure it will fit 96-98 and 99-00 is pretty much the same its just the 99-00 front bumper has a face lift thats the only thing thats different from the 96-98 but it will fit

They aren't the same 96-98 and 99-00 are two different front bumpers.... If the lip is for 96-98 then it will fit... But if the lip is 99-00 it won't fit... Hatch and coupe same front for every year though
