Hi

I got some JDM ITR Recaros and as I already knew, only 3 of the 4 holes line up. Is there any simple way(without cutting or welding) of using the inner rail of my stock seats to replace it with the inner rail of the ITR Recaros so that the fourth hole lines up?

I know there were some threads around here with this, but I've searched and I can't find them anymore

all you have to do is swap out your old seat rails with itr seat rails. then it will bolt up with no problem.

here is a link on how to do it. it will be the same process for you.

But are you sure the stock rails fit in to the Recaro seats? They look so different...

Yes, you would need to take the seat rails and swap them to get all 4 bolts to line up.....i was lazy with mines and left it at 3 bolts connected. Didnt run into any problems and everythings good

Well, thanks for the answers but sadly that doesn't work for me. The Recaros are totally different from the other seats, the only similar thing is the part that bolts on to the floor of the car. The way that part is attached to the rest of the seat doesn't match at all.

I'm going to have someone do some cutting and welding on the rails that come with the seat. It won't look as nice, but it will be safe, will all four bolts screwed in.

Search some more. Try using different word phrases.

They are Recaros. You will need the proper Recaro brackets to bolt them into your car. Brackets from a CTR will work. You can also buy brackets to install a Recaro "SRD" or "Speed" (the SR3 found in JDM ITRs/CTRs is pretty close to these USDM models) into a '96-00 Civic.

Your stock brackets obviously will not work because they are not made to fit a Recaro seat.

you could drill into your floor and put a timecert in there, but thats too much work lol, just find some wedge engeenering brackets (i belive some are hieght adjustable) so you can customize your seating position and they arn't that bad of a price, can anyone back me up on that?

Problem solved. I adapted the ITR rails with a friend's help.
