JDM h22. Legal process (smog, DMV, blah blah)
I will be swapping a JDM h22.
My questions:
1.) Is smogging it going to be a problem
2.) Do I have to go to DMV for any reason
3.) Insurance? They need to know too right?
I know as long as the motor has obd1 (which my car has) it will be fine. But are there any other regulations/legal terms I should be concerned with?

Re: JDM h22. Legal process (EG CoUpe)
What kind of car do you have, what year. You need to be kind of explicit when you ask for help man. Just trying to help you out. Smogging shouldn't be a problem as long as the motor is newer than your year car. I do not know about the DMV but you MIGHT have to get a reconstructed title. Insurance really doesn't matter unless you get a turbo I would think. Unless you want the motor covered (which might be costly) then they would continue coverage of your "stock" motor. For example, if your motor was jacked they would cover the cost of a new stock motor. That was what I was told 3 days ago at my insurance place...good luck mang
