jdm gsr wont rev pass 3000 pls HELP NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!
so this is the deal im posting this up for a friend he has a 97 civic hatch he had a obd1 gsr swap on but he blew it up so he bought a jdm gsr block from hmotors so he swap tht in n it wont rev pass 3000 like if it reached rev limit he has a 97 gsr ecu with ek harness.

my friend said no cel lights n its a jdm obd1 motor we r gng to swap tb cause i also have a gsr to see if its the tps

Had the same problem when I did my ls swap in my last hatch. I broke the sensor on the back of the intake I just can't remeber which one it was. But it worked fine after that

from some weird reason a came upon a thread whr a prelude had the same problem but isaid something abt the vtec system so we swap the vtec solenoid from a usdm gsr n it work crazy but it did.
