damn thats **** for a swap like that...can u drive? (not to sound like an ***). take your intake off at the butterfly valve, get a friend to fully depress the gas pedal, and see if the valve makes a (thinking) 90 dedree difference, it should be parrallel with your mainfold, get whut im saying? cuz u said your throttle cable was loose. whut are your 60ft times like?

wow i thought a GSR hatch would pull a better time than that. What elevation are you running at. Drop those MX's down to about 22lbs that way the spread out a lil more and grab.

I'm a pretty good driver i ran a consistent 14.9 3 times and my friend ran it and could only pull a 15.01 considering he puts up 15.00 with his stock prelude I consider him a good driver so I'm pretty good imo.

EDIT: you beat me to it .

Now that the information is all there, it seems like you're not pulling as hard up top as you need to be. You can also probably pull out a better 60 foot by dropping those tire pressures and feathering the clutch a little more. If I can hit a 2.2 on shitty S-rated winter tires you can hit at least a 2.1 with MX's (awesome tires imho).

my gsr hatch ran a 14.4 with a 2.39 60 ft, stock motor besides I/H/E. Note this is on cut springs (not me, previous owner), bad camber, bald tires, and my suck *** driver skills. Once my new suspension and **** is in, i think ill be able to pull a 13.9 with same motor setup on street tires. As of last time i ran i was running 15's, cause i couldnt hook up, and was just having a shitty night. Running a 15 with a bad bog at launch, I traped 96.85

I know my car has the power, i just have to get my new suspension in...but mostly just stop sucking

my friends hatch ran consistenly 14.8- 14.9 with just an ls motor with intake and exhaust plus drag radials, but we got it into high 14's with street tires at first so yeah do a compression test or let a better driver drive it

that's what im saying i see ppl running practically stock b16 low 14's and gsr as well consistent low 14's. As I said my friend runs 15 flat with his prelude bone stock and I beat his time he did with my car so considering 15 flat with a lude is pretty much rated at a above average driver i think i'm a good driver. The car is also on stock shocks and lowered 2 inches so that doens't help launching at all. I'll get a comp. test and see what's up. What should the compression be 210 right?

As long as they're within 10% of each other I always deem it okay.

friend ran 14.9 consistent on an EG hatch with USDM GSR swap. Everything else was stock... stock clutch, even the 14" steelies with **** tires on them.

The same guy ran a 13.4 on a EG hatch with jdm ITR motor bone stock with some decent tires. i think it had a 6 puck clutch though. but no exhaust/header nothing. so this guy is a pretty good driver

I run a consistant 15.2 with my D16 in my EG on street tires, and have broken into 14's on slicks. So I think you should be running way better times. My friends EG was running mid 14's consistant with just short ram and some fuel management.
