JDM front end on a DEL SOL?
Anyone do any JDM front ends on a DEL SOL? I am considering picking up one and looks like it may need some front end work. I am looking for some infor stories or pics of a jdm front end on a del sol. I have seen the USDM integra front end on one. I am thinking CIVIC type R front end or JDM integra front end.
Just curious on if it has ever been done.

Re: JDM DEL SOL
It has been done (google del sol jdm front end)...it just depends on what you like.
Sorry I have no info for you. People have done eg, ek, and ITR front ends on del sols...I don't really like any of them.
The only half decent ones I have seen are the spoon body kit (which is still a bit much for me) and the custom bumpers that that sebastian guy in germany did on his.

I am "not" into front end swapping, the del sol front end looks just fine. If you do decide to swap though, the civic eg front end is about the only one that even looks half decent

Re: JDM DEL SOL
I agree...but I think the stock del sol front end (which ever one you have) will look the best.

Re: JDM front end on a DEL SOL?
thanks everyone- Was just looking for some people who have actually done it. Before I posted here I was on google for a hour looking through photos.
I just like JDM look- Thats why I am into honda. JDM parts. Better that USDM.
Seen a del sol with out the projectors. I just do not like the projectors on the del sol. I saw one minus the projectors was not sure if it was a 92-95 front end or some jdm bumper.
This is really what I am going for

No worries, Im going to go look the car over and see if it is even worth it. Than try taking prices with the guy. I bought my honda off him years ago. Since I am parting out a 1992 civic coupe, and a 1997 coupe. I should have Some parts around.

I have a '93 del sol SI with a 96 civic front end conversion, i personally love it. It looks good plus there are many more aftermarket headlight choices for a civic compared to a del sol. only thing i need to do to finish it is to fix the fenders on both sides, they don't match up perfectly but it's only cosmetic, probably will take like an hour or so. I'll post pictures tomorrow if you'd like.

Re: JDM front end on a DEL SOL?
The "JDM" Civic front end (specifically Type R) is basically no different from the USDM other than gunmetal housing headlights.
This is how any 96-00, specifically 99-00 front end looks like on a Del-Sol
96-98
and a JDM integra front end on a del-sol
If you really want to, then go ahead and do whichever swap you'd like, but it will need a lot of modifications and cost a lot.... and in my opinion looks like **** because the Del Sols body lines don't match the sharp integra front, or the 96-00 Civic.
Like mentioned above, 92-95 Civic front ends are much better.
In the end, to each his own, if you love your car and would love to do that, then by all means do so. But the amount of thumbs down you'd receive may be colossal.

I suppose I agree to disagree. I get tons of compliments on my conversion all the time, I've even had people offer me more than what i've paid + put into mine before, i suppose it all matters on where you live.

The front end could fit if the paint and lip/body kit flows well. Although I dislike it, I'm open to being proven otherwise!

It's still a work in progress, i'll go take some photos here in a few minutes and show you what i mean. I'm lacking a grille insert and the fenders aren't flush right behind the wheel well. All in all though, I really like it. I wouldn't do it again though, it takes so much time to get it perfect.
EDIT:
Took these at a gas station tonight lol
