JDM EK9 Navigation Question...
If I add one into a 96-98 Civic, would I have to do a whole conversion like switching over to the 99-00 A/C unit? Just a simple answer would be fine.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: JDM EK9 Navigation Question... (philosofy1)
jdm navigation will not work properly in the u.s.
the radio has different frequencies - if you were to swap you have to get the whole entire kit with the jdm navi - can't cut any corners on this one.
i'm not trying to knock it as i researched doing one in my 00 hatch - it just wasn't worth it because the system would not be compatible with u.s. streets
if you're going for show then go for it.
or you can always go with a pioneer set up.

Yeah, I knew the Navigation wont work in the U.S. I was basically going for looks. But after reading that I will have to do a heater box swap and some other stuff from a 99-00 into my 96-98 Civic, I rather pass than go through all the trouble.
Thanks for you input guys.
