Default jdm ecu p72 obd1 vs usdm p30

i have an b16a3 obd1 motor with p30 ecu.can i used my jdm p72 obd1 ecu on my b16a3 with out hurting the motor!!!

Is it chipped or are you running hondata?

not an chip ecu p30 stock ecu!just want to know if i can used my jdm p72 ecu no chip.on the b16 engine

it would run. but not as good as a p30...plus has a speed gov

JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market.
JDM does not mean better.

if its JDM P72 OBD1 ecu, I can tell you how it behaves as I own JDM SiR DC2 P72 B18C motor with such ECU:

Speed limit 180KMh (with 5'th gear u will reach ~ 185KMh, with 4'th you will go down to the redline and will have 200KMh no problem)
Rev Limiter @ 8.2k RPM
Vtec activates @ 4.4k RPM
Its been designed for 1790cc engine with compression ratio of 10.6:1

I have no Idea if you can hurt your engine but I wouldnt chance it myself.

If you have this P72 OBD1 ecu and you find no use to it - let me know if you want to sell it, as I need one for my project
