yulp, any D series tranny will mate.. even pre OBD.. i think 88-00 will, only problem, pre OBD EF chassis was cable trannsmission, all 92+ are hydrolic, but any SOHC tranny will bolt up.
i have a EK EX tranny in my EG.

anyone know if a JDM CVT tranny will bolt up to a usdm HX motor? The CVT tranny in mine is screwed and I found a good deal on a JDM unit.
Would any wiring/ecu changing be necessary?
