what trans for jdm d15b
HMO offers a hydro tranny for $150 extra, i have a d15b7 now, and plan to get the jdm d15b hopefully within the end of this month ( if i dont get fired for calling in sick: F'IN FLU!!!)
so anyhow, i would love to get a nice tranny for this motor, so i want the faster acceleration. does any1 know what the gearing to the hydro tranny HMO offers is?
so... i need to know, should i get the hydro tranny from HMO, or get an ex tranny.
also, any1 know about getting an lsd for whichever tranny i will need for my d-series?
thanks fellas

If the tranny is the jdm d15b tranny I'd get that. $150 is a good deal on it and it might even come with the optional lsd. Otherwise a y8 or z6 tranny will be just fine.

i hear the USMD d16y8 tranny (96-00 civic ex) is one of the best d series trannys. Yes, I'm sure someone will disagree with me, but I'd go with that. Steel shift forks, and pretty tight gears if you ask me. Like I said, I'm sure someone will disagree with me though.
