i am curious which is the better engine. i will be gettin one soon so i would like to know which is better. i have a d16z with broke rings, so which one has more power, easy swap, and more aftermarket parts. and i heard that i can use all of my d series stuff (header, intake) on the d15b, but it doesn't have a knock sensor.

i would but can't rebuild engine for under 600, so should i just buy another d16z? i heard that the d15b has more power.

i totally rebuilt my y8 for just about $475 just look around for the best prices. and len here on ht can hook u up man big. good luck.

It's actual the same same engine just a destroked z6 block and different cam. Sam pistons different crank and rods. Heads are from the same cast. I just picked mine up today from Cyberdx16 for 175 but just need new z6 pistons and some rings and I'm set.

yeah i can get all the gaskets, rings, rods, and main bearings for like 215, but i needed some one to do the work bc i have no room and hardly the right tools. plus i have a b18b to trade or sell off

d15b is a vx block with the z6 head but with a crazier cam....also the the height of the block is, i think, a little higher. oh yea, the d15 can be revved higher because it has a better r/s ratio(if im wrong, make it right )

What car do u have?
If it's OBD-1 keep it that way for simplicity sake.

93 ex, has obd1, but isn't the d15b obd1
