cant do a jdm cluster, im currently waiting on a canadian cluster cause it has the KPH in the larger numbers with the MPH in smaller and its not as well-known. Personally i like this one better cause yuo dont have to figure the math when yuo see a copper plus i like feeling like im going faster(larger numbers) since im stuck with a n/a sohc

Re: jdm cluster question? (o5mar1)
Awww come on, is it really that bad?
How many different speed limits does one need to abide by while traveling?
25mph = 40kph
35mph = 56kph
45mph = 72kph
55mph = 88kph
65mph = 104kph
75mph = 120kph
That should cover all your bases.

Everyone who is amused by the original poster's question and the rather curt replies he received should note that KPH -> MPH speedometer conversions are quite common in the UK, and are certainly possible. Most converters require a bit of wiring skill rather that being "plug-and-play", but there are various sites that have basic how-to's which should be helpful.

Most of the converters I've come across require that the installer hard-wire them into the cluster. If you located a plug-and-play converter for your vehicle, of course that would be the preferred route.

thanks for the replys, i ask this because my roomate has a 240sx with a jdm cluster and he made it read in mph by adding a resistor to the cluster's wiring. i was just wondering if it could be the same on a civic cluster.

holy crap just use the US cluster so it's already in MPH and you dont have to go through all this BS.
