i just got a jdm da cluster. i need to know how to take out the old one because it has plastic stuff all around it
so i can put in my jdm cluster

you are going to have to remove all plastic bezel that goes around the cluster and holds all of your options buttons(i.e. rear defroster, light dimmer etc.) and your climate controls. To the right somewhere around the climate controls there will be a little textured plastic cover that you have to pry open and underneath it will be a screw or two. There will be the same kind of cover and screws at the other end of the bezel. I have swapped dashes into 2 DA's, it is a lot of work, make sure when you remove the bezel that you label all of the wires for the buttons they go to. Just take a look around there will be other screws that need to be taken out but those are the tricky ones. Good Luck
