(JDM) B16A Alternator And (USDM) B16A Alternator...Is There A Deferance
Ok...I Went To AutoZone And Got A 99 si Alternator my car has a JDM B16A Swap...when i got to the shop And they took out the old alternator they said the Bolt that holds the pully was different...I took it back to AutoZone and they couldnt give me an explanation...What i Want 2 know is if there is a difference between the two alternator???

is the b16 OBD1? if it is you might want to get the alternator for B16 Del Sol which came with the b16a3

If it's a JDM motor it isn't OBD2. Maybe you should give us little better discription of what car, motor, obd, and what not you have so people aren't guessing.

OBD2 B16s were only in US and europe?

My Car Is a 99 civic si With a JDM B16a swap It is obd 1 and has the AEM Tru-Power Pully Kit...my problem is The pully wont fit on the new alternator...I was told I need a diferent alternator but i want to know is what is the solution to dis problem?????

really, never knew that. thought all civics and integras from 96-01 are obd2.

Get rid of the useless pulley?
Non-oem alternators may not use the same size bolt for holding the pulley on....since it comes with a pulley
