alternator is fucked, on my b16a
I have a 90 Crx Si with a JDM 1st generation B16a motor. My alternator went bad and I went and bought one at a local auto parts store. I got a 93 Del Sol VTEC alternator because it was the closest one that looks like my original and my friend told me that it would fit. The alternator on my left is the new one and the one on the right is my original. There is a slight different on the mounting brackets where it bolts on. Would it fit or not? The reason why I bought it, is because its new and comes with a lifetime warranty, but the only pain is its hard to find the parts for my motor. If I go to a local motorsports shop, who knows how long it would last and I don't want it breaking down on me. Please help, thanks.

Re: alternator is fucked, on my b16a (only JDM)
Hmm...I remember coming to this dilemna before. 88-95 use the same plug type, so aB-series non-obd alternator is the same as a B-series obd-1 alternator. OBD-2 would be different. actually now that I think about it why didn't you just try plugging in the new alternator to see if it would plug in to the harness plug?

Re: alternator is fucked, on my b16a (SCsol)
Its hard to find a 90-93 Integra Alternator that stocks them at a auto parts store...I will see if I can find one.
