Jacking Car
Hey guys, excuse the noobish question.
I have a 2000 civic and am wondering what are some suggested jacking points on the car, besides the 4 obvious ones.
Which would be good to use when the car is being raised for a significant amount of time?
How to raise to rotate tires, etc?
I tried to search with no luck. Thanks.

when i rotate my tires i jack up the frame in between the front and rear tires, i have a del sol, the jack will lift up the whole side of the car....then i put jackstands on the two obvious mounting points in case the jack gives out.

Me too.
You can also use the rear tow hook and there's a "flat spot" on the fron bumper support.

i installed a comptech rear anti-sway bar and tie bar a few weeks ago.. yesterday, i jacked my rear end up to rip the heat shield off my muffler... i put the jack on the drivers side, and the passenger side rose up almost just as high . wow. just thought i'd share that, i was so surprised

Ding ding ding. We have a winner. Those are the spots I use, then I put jack stands on the other four jack points.
