ITR pistons or cams?
I've searched around a little bit but haven't really found the answer I'm looking for. Looking into doing GSR swap in my ej8 and i was gonna do at least one other upgrade on top of that. I was thinking about installing the ITR pistons or the intake cam. I was just wondering what some opinions would would be on the short term and long term effects on the engine for each.
short term as in:
-not having to worry about messing up alot of other parts of engine on install
-unexpected engine lights
-hp for the $
and longterm generally meaning the overall engine wear

if i was you
i go with p30 pistons from the jdm B16.
they will give you more compression the ITR pistons.
Buy skunk 2, blox, toda cams and a Header.
then tuning will be next

Re: (Ruben19)
I'm kinda new, so would having a little higher compression run much more of a risk on reliability cause i take semi-good care of my car and wanted it to go for at the very least 50K mi before worrying about the engine. I mean i know its a honda but these aren't exactly "economy" tweaks you know?
what kind of power gain would i be looking at with that setup? 5-10, 10-15hp, 15-20?
