Default INTERIOR NEW LOOK(FROM GRAY TO BLACK) 98 CIVIC

I was looking at a previous forum that featured the product use of Duplicolor
which is an painting applicator for vinyl and carpet.. This forum of coarse was shown to me by my best friend Derrick and he brought it to my attention that we should try the product out so..... Wat the hell we did and here are some pics of the use of this applicator with the carpet of my car 98 4dr civic. we decided to go from the manufactured color which is gray to black....

Here we started by striping the car,
THE MIDDLE CONSOLE AND PASSENGER SEAT

THEN WENT THE BACK SEAT

ALL SEATS OUT

THE CARPETS OUT NOW READY TO BE PAINTED

1/2 WAY DONE AND DERRICK HARD AT WORK! IF TRYING THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT HAVE SOMEONE EXPERIENCED PAINT THE CARPET 4 YOU BECAUSE ALL NEEDS TO BE EVEN IN THE END....OH AND YEA HE'S EXPERIENCED THE TAG-MASTER

ME(MARICE) APPLYING THE THE CARPET BACK INTO THE CAR

THE FINISHED PRODUCT-- I HAVE TO SAY OVERALL I WAS 110% SATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME A 3 HOUR JOB PAYS OFF THANKS TO MY BOII AND HIS EXPERTISE

I STRONGLY SUGGEST THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT IF YOU NEED A QUICK CHANGE AND YOU CANT FIND THE RIGHT COLOR CARPET YOU WANT FOR YOUR RIDE

Wow, how hard would you say that is to do, to rip out the interior like that? all day project?
That looks like a brand new carpet, that is friggen awsome!
Fumes bad tho? im sure it must smell for days after you do that.

Did you clean the carpet before applying the spray?

I believe through time, the dirt particles in the carpet before will come off, showing the original color of the carpet.

Wow, nice what I would call a product review. I was wondering how that stuff worked. I was worried that it would gunk up the fibers but it turned out great.

I wouldnt think so if it was scrubbed/shampoo'd thoroughly before hand.

My thoughts exactly, but i guess if you apply it correctly, it wont go on so thick as to do that. Looks like it came out amazing.

i've used the dye before and it looks good... however in some areas it will fade showing the original color (drivers side armrest) remember this dupli-color is just temporary if you want quality spend the money on some real black carpet.
