Default Integra Dash Fitment Question - Searched, Specific

Hey,

A friend and I test fitted my teg dash in my 92 hatch this weekend. We cut alot of the plastic behind the gauge cluster and got it to fit snug. However, I noticed that the sides of the dash will not line up with the part of the frame by the door jam. There's a huge gap.

Also, the one bolt down at the bottom center, below the center console won't line up. Will I have to cut a new hole into the metal dash frame?

Lastly, I left the clock in the dash when I test fitted it so I couldn't tell if that bolt lined up or not. When I actually put the dash in for good, should I make sure that that bolt goes in first, then line everything up accordingly after that bolt is in?

Thanks,

George

No. I only have the civic dash mounts. I know I can drill holes in them to make it fit. But would teg dash mounts get rid of this problem, because the gap I'm describing goes from where it mounts all the way down the side.

One more thing. I'm trying to repin the grey plug to the fuse box. How do I actually disassemble the plug to get the pins out??

So you used the civic underdash harness for everything and just repinned the gauge cluster? Did heat and all that work too? Do all those plugs fit into the teg accessories?

I used the stock civic mounts and i cut the plastic behind where the cluster sits. I also trimmed some of the plastic from the vents behind the dash its a little strip right next to the vent and i did not have to redrill holes on the mounts they lined up perfect. Also the hole behind the cig. liter lined up perfect, the one behind the clock u have to redrill. As far as the wiring i used the civic harness repinned the cluster, hazards, clock, cig liter and the rest plug in. I didnt use the defrost one cause i couldnt get it to work but everything works on my car.
