help:rear brakes 97 civic dx
ok i changed my sisters front disc brakes, which were really easy. i have never touched drums, which her dx has on the back. so my question is how do u change drums?

Jack up the whole back end.
Remove both covers. Dissasemble one side and replace the shoes. Reassemble it using the other side as a template (or your helms manual, but since your asking this I don't think you have one).

make sure the E brake is off and give them a little tapp tapp a on the outside near the lugs. if that does not work take a 12mm bolt and thread it into the threaded hole on the outside of the drum cover and pop it should come right off
