Default integra brace on civic?

Well i've been considering an H-brace type piece for a while now as I have alot of front end slop (also due to broken mounts), but instead of going with a Megan / NRG 4 point bar, which I've heard are kind of shitty in numerous ways, I really would rather stay with the 2pt brace that was put on the integras. Does anyone know / has anyone tried to fit the dc4 front brace (pictured below) on a 96-00 civic? I think with the "EG" civics, it'll probably be fine, I'm just unsure with the "EK" civics.

I hadn't heard of it either. I don't have any pics at the moment. I tried to google it but came up with nothing. I know that for instance the "beaks" bar fits EG / EK / DC, but im unsure if its the same with this?

I'd be using this bar as alternative to an "H" Brace, not for the blown mounts.

I have that bar, its a upper cross member brace. Direct fit into eg chassis, don't know about ek's. I don't know if it made a difference because I did all my suspension work at once.

Good to know. However, I need to find out about ek's. I guess ill just order it and see what happens. Worse comes to worse I would just have to a bit of custom work. It SHOULD make a difference, I just didnt want something like the H brace hanging down low, however I wanted the front end support. Both the ITR / S2000 have them, so I figure it can't hurt, especially when the steering in both cars is nice and tight.

i seen lots of LS/GSR tegs have this i have it on my LS and on an EG hatch i think i felt more of a difference with an H brace in stead of that. i think its one of those you have it or you dont

Hmm... if I could use an H brace I would. This bar is my alternative but I just would like to know if it'll fit..

it might fit should be 4 holes there too... but then again i never seen/took the time to see if 96-00 civic's had them more than likely if they had them it would be on Si models i would assume.

Perfect, I'll busy the next couple of days so if you want to check and let me know that'd be awesome.

yeah that's kind of what I figured. I JUST ran out to the service bay and looked under a car and did NOT see the four bolt holes for it to fit into. Hmm, so any recommedations on a lower bar?

Yeah, I was just looking at the carbing one. It looks solid and has the name behind it and is less than the benen one at only $75.
