INTAKE SENSOR 97 EX
I have a quick question about a short ram intake I bought for my car. Its an Arospeed but I think they are all the same when it comes to my question. Anyways, there is a sensor that goes into the intake tube(im not sure what the sensor is for). I am not talking about the breather tube to the cylinder head but the actual sensor. It didnt come with a grommet or anything for the sensor to stay in there. Now it simply falls out. Arospeed said I have to make something and that it isnt supposed to come with it. I think thats bull, it should come with everything you need. So anyone with any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Re: INTAKE SENSOR 97 EX (SILVER97EX)
If I'm not mistaken some of the more inexpensive intakes do not come with the proper plug ins and there has to be mods done to make it work

Go to the local Ace hardware and guide yourself to the plumbing dept. Look for the section with all the rubber washers, o-rings and grommets. What you need to find is a rubber grommet that has a groove around the middle. Get one that is just a tad larger than the hole. Lube it up with some spit and slip it into the hole.
Done.
The grommet will look like this:
