installing upper control arms, 00 civic coupe
hi guys,
i just bought omni upper control arms for my 00 civic.
i was wondering if i could do it myself, and if anyone could walk me through the steps?
i read somewhere that i might need a special tool to connect the ball joints, is this true?
any info is appreciated, thanks ht

Unbolt the old and bolt on the new...its completely straight forward
You will have to remove the battery, to get to the passenger side bolt
Dont torque the bolts that support the arm on the shock towers down until the car is sitting on the ground.
Use a cotter pin...
The ball joints are already in the arms, you just need to pop out the old and put in the new...thats it
Use youre head a little, look at the car, you wont have any problems.

the only thing requiring a special tool is dislodging the old ball joint from the top of the knuckle. but a big hammer will be fine since you will not be reusing it. other than that follow the instructions in the previous post and you will have no problems

Screw pickle forks...all they do is serve to **** people off and break ****
Since the guy is just repplacing the arm AND the ball joint, at the same time, a steady whack from the hammer on the base of the stud will pop that joint right out. Doesnt matter if its mushroom'd or not...its getting changed out
