Installing Tokico Illuminas onto an EG hatch
I received these things that look like are supposed to replace the rubber things that go on top of the strut. There are two big fat rubber things that stack on top of each other that normally go on top the strut when you are putting the strut together with the coil-over. I'm talking about the part right under where you tighten it down with a nut. Am I supposed to replace those or can I use the ones already on there? Also what kind of complications do people normally run into besides a seized rear LCA bolt? I'm pretty sure it'll come off just fine because the last time I managed to change my stock springs to coil-overs I used that anti-seize stuff. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's best to replace the old "rubber things" but I'm not sure it's a necessity. It takes no time at all to change the old ones out, so why not? When I did mine I had 3 out of the 6 rear LCA bolts seize. Then again I live in Indiana. Out in Hawaii you may get 0 out of 6. Good luck.
