How do i get the nuts out of rear hatch glass

the struts have actually been out for a while. the nut holding it to the glass is stripped so thats why i was wondering. there still in there. do i just give em a good tug, or is there threads?

Good tug - or tap out from the inside. They are not threaded (externally), they only have a boss on one side to keep them from turning while tightening the strut bolt.
