Default Installing new tranny...

Installing a reman tranny in a 93 civic ex,can anybody tell me the fluid quantity torque converter and all?

should be 4 quarts also if im not mistaken...just like the motor takes 4.5...

I don't think a D16Z6 takes 4.5 quarts of oil...

You should get honda tranny fuild, so when you go to the dealer just ask and they will gladly tell you. I know for manual its 1.8 quarts but way more for auto

Should be around 6L total IIRC. 3 for the transmission itself and 3 for the torque converter.

d series is 3.2ish quarts. A b series was 4 or 5...dont remember


I dont recall the number for tranny . Try checking the online manual on this site?

d is 4 quarts once you factor in the filter. b is 5

and for the tranny ill check my owners manual in the morning. im sure its in there even if its for an sir-II lol
