Installing A/C in an EK with B18c1
I'm trying to find as much information as possible regarding installing A/C in my car. My EK did not originally come with a/c. I'm assuming I would need all a/c components off a gsr and a del sol a/c bracket. Lastly, I would need the a/c unit from any 96-00 civic for the interior of the car. Am I correct? is there anything else I'm missing?

Do the single cam A/C system instead. You need a CR-V A/C compressor bracket to fit a D-Series A/C compressor. It's going to be cheaper.

not neccesarily. People usually mark up EM1 a/c parts simply because its an Si. My best advice is find a single cam civic, buy all of the a/c components from it and buy a CR-V a/c bracket (P7J) or b16 del sol (P54) ac bracket. It'll bolt up perfectly. But if you're using it on a b16, only the del sol b16 ac bracket will work because the p7j will have clearance issues with the p/s bracket.
