Default Installing 1" MC and booster

I've decided that since my MC has gone bad, I might as well install the 1" MC and booster that iv had sitting around forever. Iv already put the booster on the car, now im just wondering exactly how I go about doing the MC. I know I have to bend the lines, and flare them, but i have no clue how to go about the flaring. Can someone give me some detailed help as to this part of the installation. Where do I get the bigger fitting also that will need to be flared on the brake pipe(i assume this is why u need to flare it)

EDIT: Ok i have the fittings, I had put them away in storage b/c this thing has been sitting here for months.

Bump cause I'm doing the same thing pretty soon. And I will do a write-up about it if I get the info I need.

first you dont need to reflare all 1" m/c you will have to look at your m/c to see if you need to do this. some require reflaring, and some only bending of the line.

i have a 99 integra ls m/c and i only had to bend the front line. not sure what year m/c you have.

the line that needs to be reflared will be the side one going to the proportioning valve. it will be 12mm and the other other one will be 10mm. so see what line size you have and that will tell you if you need to reflare or not.

and to get the bigger 12mm screw you will have to buy one complete brake line. or go to the junkyard and snag one.

or you can do a custom steel belted brake lines which will save you some time in reflaring and also bending... i dont know where to get them but i know several people on here have done this.

well i found the fitting so thats no longer a problem. I DO have to reflare, I checked earlier and i have the 10mm fitting on one side and the 12 on the other. Do I reflare the stock brake line, or do I need a different one. Seems like i just need to get a tube cutter, cut the existing fitting, and reflare correct? But Im a reflaring noob, so im hoping someone can give some guidance as to how to do it

http://www.goodridge.net Go to the distruputors link and find a place in your area. Almost every place they have on their site makes braided SS lines.

scroll to the bottom to find out how to reflare...remember you will have to double flare the brake line
