Injector junction harness problems
I just finished turning my car back to stock. It is a d16y8 and had a edelbrock turbo kit on it. My problem is everytime I turn the ignition to the on position I blow the 15A fuse for the FI ECU circuit. I have traced all the wires for open contacts that could be causing a ground out issue and have failed to find anything wrong. Oxygen sensors are not grounding out on the frame either. I originally forgot to ground the transmission wire and experience a buzzing noise from the main relay behing the glove box. I fixed the ground and now there is no noise and I am left with 10 blown fuses. My guess is it is a problem with the junction harness that I wired back together. I had two pins that broke off on the yellow wires so I took off the harness connector and wired the 14 wires together (6 yellow 8 black). On the junction harness there is a cap that looks like it connects all the wires in a circuit so I am assuming that it is more or less a grounding cap. So is this possibly my problem? Should I just get the connectors from a junkyard and reassemble the cap? Thanks for any help in advance.
