Incredibly simple brake question
'98 EX - did it come stock with rear discs?
Yeah, I searched. I get nothing for "EX", and I get the phone book for "brakes"

Re: Incredibly simple brake question (Pooby88)
All USDM 1998 Civic EX models (2 or 4 door) had Drum Discs from the factory.
EDIT: BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! WTF??? "DRUM DISCS" BWAHAHAHAHAH
DRUM DISCS FTMFW!!!
I'll re-iterate:

Maybe it wasn't such a simple question.
What are "drum discs"?

Rear disc conversion from either a teggy or an SI.
IMO a good set of front disc's (ex: Brembo, ect) and good pads (hawk, AEM, ect) with OEM rear drums works just fine for any D.D setup. If your really interested tho, then looks like you should look into doing a rear disc conversion. Theres a thread or two on how to do it yourself here on HT.
