Ignition wire fried..!!! Help..!!
I dont even know where to start... I was driving my car home earlier an it shut completely off like 3-4 times, than last time it wouldnt start again an my whole inside of my car filled up with smoke an smelled like burnt rubber... after smoke cleared i began to investigate an came across this.. its still attatched at the top but burnt to the fawkin crisp.... How do I replace this..?? I've searched but nobody seems to have done a write up on one.... thanks in advance..

thats gonna cost you an arm and a leg. Go to a junkyard and enjoy ripping thru the car to get the stuff you need, plus as a bonus u'll get to know how its put in there so you can replace it easily. I love doing that. Good luck

You might want to try to figure out what caused it to go up like that before you slap in the new one. You'd hate to spend time and money just for the same thing to happen again. It obviously shorted out on something, but I would have thought a fuse would have blown before it got hot enough to burn like that. Do you have an aftermarket alarm?

check that the fuses were in the right spot. A 50a fuse in place of a 15a will do that. Just check to make sure all the fuses are in the right spots. If you don't have the "slide" with all the fuse amperage, search, its around.

Re: Ignition wire fried..!!! Help..!! (JDM_SOHC)
I have one if you would like it... might save some hassle of trying to find one.
Simply clean the wires up, cut them, solder + heatshrink each one.
PM me, paypal me shipping money and I can have it shipped out by tomorrow
