ignition switch or fuel pump
well... i originally had an issue of my vehicle randomly dying during drives. i switched out the ignition switch for a USED OEM part... but because these parts/vehilces are so old, i am not sure if i got a bad ignition switch or my fuel pump is going out.
the shutting down while drive is less frequent (dashboard stays on now, when it dies). i have a NEW cap, rotor, wires, plugs, ignition coil, fuel filter... i never had this issue before the swap, but my vehicle hesitates when i give it gas now... sometimes.
where do i find an OEM replacement fuel pump (that will not effect my gas mileage)

Re: ignition switch or fuel pump
What car and set up?
It's rare for our fuel pumps to fail. A common cause of engine stalls is the ICM/igniter unit. You may want to have it tested.

Also test the coil. You'll find a diagram in the FAQs sticky for resistance testing the coil.
