ignition maintenance- just finished
whew, jus finished changing new cap and rotor for the distributor, new splark plugs and new spark plug wires.
took around 1.5 hours. not too bad, i got lucky and got the rotor to match up on the third try. i tried the rock the car back and forth, but i must have been doing it wrong, because it didnt work, lol.
anyone out there planning to get new wires, the ngk blues are really nice. i got them for $55 shipped. ive never havd the luxury of having the stock wires because i bought my car fixed up, but anyways, my old ones were really beat up. the ngk's fit really really snug on the cap and on the spark plugs, they snap in perfectly.
havent went out for a test run yet, but hopefully the car runs a bit smoother, and more importanlty , get better gas milage, hehe.
next, im going pick up a feeler gauge and learn how to adjust valves, hehe.
coo, peace
