Default IACV question d15z1

In my d15z1 with my iacv plugged in rpms drop slow and rpms stay a little high until i stop completely and its kinda annoying.Cleaned it still the same. I got another good used one it does the same thing when i put it on,now im driving with it unplugged and rpms drop smooth and stays around 1000 rpm idle but with it unplugged driving at 1500 rpms the car bucks and jerks hard so i rev it up to 1500 and its weird at 1500 rpm in neutral it starts spazzing out anyone know what this could be ? Thanks Im assuming i need the iacv for headlights and A/C.Because when i turn my headlamps on rpms drop real low with it unplugged so when i hook my A/C up im sure the car will cut off lol

Have you check to see if the FITV is out of adjustment as well. Most likely if you have tried cleaning them that is all you can do. Maybe try and look for vacuum leaks bro

You might want to start by cleaning the throttle body and adjusting the throttle cable to have about 1/2" of slack. If the problem persists, try adjusting the idle speed to spec (see diagram in FAQs sticky).

The throtte body was taken off and cleaned before maybe it has a vaccum leak from that, and when the car hasnt been driven for a few hours the throttle gets stuck i have to hit the gas pedal hard, its like the throttle body butterfly is to big for the hole or something lol,and i have a d15z1 and i believe it had a gsr swap before this and has a gsr throttle cable but it has good slack and seems to be the right size for the d15z1

how about just take a picture. It sounds like something is making it stick open, or it needs to be cleaned again, better. I had the throttle cable bumping a fuel line one time every now and then and would cause this.

map sensor maybe,,your iacv sounds good..i had a iacv problem once on my civic,,actually got a good deal on it because the small time car lot couldnt figure it out! but in my instance i pulled the map sensor plug and that leveled out my idle since the iacv was bad.with a quick cleaning, brought it back to life.i dont know but im thinking it also works the other way around..or find another map sensor..let us know what you come up with

Try what Ron said above. Clean the throttle body, IACV, FITV and make sure you throttle cable has the correct slack in it.
