Default Low Idle

I dont know whats going on. Maybe some of you might have an idea? Sometimes when I idle the car drops to about 750 rpm. Its usually around 950. Is it ok to leave it alone or should I go get it checked out? With AC on its about 950. Its usally about 1150 rpm.

Its probably ur OBD thats causing it and its common. I've seen ITRs that changes idle. Sometimes it can jump upwards to 1500rpm.

R U sure? I feel like I've lost alot of power and my throttle response sucks now. I got to give it some really hard gas for it to rev higher.. Maybe I'm just paranoid?

It's no problem. Sometimes when the car gets to a certaind age or milege you just half to ajust the throttle a little. I wouldn't worry about it.

To adjust the idle you have to turn the screw that on the throtle body. On mine its a brass looking flat head. After you adjust it reset the ecu or it wont change that much. I would also only turn the screw half way each time and log it on paper so you can set it back if you want. Or do it the easy way and take it to honda good luck hope that helps.

BTW my SI used to idle at 900-1000 now idles at 700-800 and it's normal no problems . In the honda dealership manuel it says not to worry about the idle unless under 550rpm.

I would leave well enough alone or else we're gonna get a new topic on this board titles "Help, My Car Won't Start!". 750 is not that low of an idle. The normal idle for an ITR is 850 plus or minus 50. Your sounds fine. If it fluctuates from 750 - 1500, then I would say you have a problem then...

I doesnt fluctuate like that. Sometimes it would be 500 rpm and sometimes it would be about 900. My car used to respond well uuntil about 2 weeks ago. No it drives like crap. I have no idea whats going on.
