IACV problem.. This time 2 wire to 3 wire plug!!!
Long story short I went back stock and im using what I got. I put on a y8 auto manifold on a y8 manual.
I have read the infamous diagram chart that everyone has seen to switch a 3 wire to 2 wire. But i tried to reverse the process and a 2 wires from the manual harnes to 3 wire plug by simply hooking the wires togehter and leave the orange wire hanging and not touching the ecu.
Car runs but wont idle under 1500 rpm and the engine light is on... the motor doesnt like to go under 1500 rpm or the motor will act like it about to stall
any advice on what to do ?

i changed the connections around for the iacv but no difference. I cleaned iacv, intake mani, throttle body.. The idle is still high. Do I have to do something to the ecu?
here are my connections i tried
2 wire --- 3-wire plug
yellow/black --- yellow/black
black/blue --- black/blue
none --- orange
also tried with same result....
2 wire --- 3-wire
yellow/black --- black/blue
black/blue --- yellow/black
none orange

Re: (fernruffryders)
Find that 3 wire and 2 wire picture and reverse it. Make sure that you have the pinouts correct. The IACV is on the B plug. The orange wire goes to B15 and the black/blue wire goes to B6, then I'd assume the third wire is the ground. Make sure you get the connections on the IACV correct too. I don't know which wire goes where on the IACV but personally I'd just cut a plug off a junkyard harness and solder that in. Hope that helps and good luck.
