Default IACV problem

Hi everybody, i have a problem with my IACV: when i plug it the rmp go down very slowly when i left the throttle and some times the car idle at 1500rmp, when i don't plug it the car runs fine. I have cleaned it and the problem isn't solved. Now my question is: if delete it is going to change something or it is just a bypass for the problem? How fuel economy will be?
Thanks.

Default Re: IACV problem

IACV is only in use during idle. DId you clean the IACV gasket/screen when you removed it?
Pull a IACV from a salvage yard and see if solves the issue. Also, clean the throttle body and do a smoke test for vacuum leaks.
