having the same problems on my skunk2 IM on GSR
everything is hooked up correctly, I check 5 time!
**idles from 1500rpms to 2000rpm
*limp mode and can't rev past 3,000rpms before fuel cut-off
*the car seems to be ideling rich and back-firing speratically

Re: iacv maybe need help (WiDeBoDyEK)
there are NO leaks what so ever. I have check that over countless times.
I don't know what to do. everything is pluged up correctly but before the install of the skunk2 IM the car ran fine.

pull the idle air control and the fast idle control. shoot some carb cleaner in them, simple green, whatever, but clean it out real nice, and then dry it out with a blow dryer... see what happens after that.

civic vx
d15z1
between 2k & 3k in any gear ... i sputter
VTEC is at 2500 stock
I think its the iacv ...
even though the vx has a noticealbe VTEC engagement...
This guy above says to take it off and wash it... hmm
i really dont know if this is potentially a bad idea.
any one to second that notion...?
