ok guys heres the deal when i shift from second to theird my gears grind what can it be .....now it does go in gear but it makes a weird noise when i push in to third.........need help asap.......this is happening on my b20b w/ an ls tranny and stage two...

try some GM SINCRO MESH TRANNY OIL u cna get it from the gm dealer ! might help !!! does it grind all the time or hi revving?

another guy with the GM fluids , lol , hilarious. if it does it all the time when the car is moving no matter how you try and baby it in , than you need a syncro kit. if it only does it once in a while or when your really on it try changin fluid , honda MTF only. than make sure your shifting properly for one thing , most trannys go cause people dont know how to drive and grind the gears. once you grind the gears a few times , those little metalgrinds get into everything else , and wear other things out , like mainshaft bearings and syncros.

so gwtting a syncro kit would do it along w/ the fluid?

if it doesnt do it all the time , than change the fluid. if that dont help any , its either syncro kit now or new tranny eventually.

Is it me or is this like the 29th post this week about someone's 3rd gear grinding? This horse has been beaten to a bloody pulp Poory horsey. not worth doing a rebuild kit on an LS tranny. u might as well get an itr tranny for the money thats gonna cost you.
